At 185 meters high, the Euromast is the tallest tower in the Netherlands open to the public. Located in Rotterdam, it offers spectacular panoramic views of the city, the port, and beyond. A must-see attraction for thrill seekers and lovers of urban landscapes.
Built between 1958 and 1960 for the Floriade exhibition, the Euromast stands in Het Park, on the edge of Parkhaven harbor. Designed by architect Hugh A. Maaskant, it embodies modernity and the reconstruction of Rotterdam after the war. With its slender design and observation deck at 112 meters, it attracts thousands of visitors every year.
The visit begins with a classic elevator leading to a panoramic platform at 112 meters, already offering an impressive view. But for those who want to go even higher, the glass Euroscoop elevator takes you up to 180 meters in a rotating cabin offering a 360° view. Thrills guaranteed.
In 1970, the Euromast was extended with an addition called the Space Tower, making it the tallest building in the city at the time. Since 2020, it has been part of the French group Magnicity, which specializes in high-rise urban tourist attractions.
In addition to its panoramic views, the Euromast houses a panoramic restaurant, a shop, regular events, and even two hotel suites perched more than 100 meters above the ground.
