Groningen Museum

Groningue Groningen

The Groninger Museum is an art museum located in Groningen. Opened in 1994, the museum, which forms an artificial island, consists of three separate pavilions: a circular one designed by Michele de Lucchi and Philippe Starck, a deconstructivist one by Coop Himmelb(l)au, and a 60-meter tower covered in gold plastic, designed by Alessandro Mendini. This unique venue has become a true center of reference in the art world.
