Opened in 2010 in Zaandam, Inntel Hotels Amsterdam Zaandam is a striking design hotel. Its architecture is based on a stack of almost 70 traditional Zaan house facades, painted in four shades of the region’s typical green (Zaans groen). This iconic project was designed by architect Wilfried van Winden.

A reinvented heritage
The hotel’s history began in 1986 with the opening of its first Inntel-branded property in Zaandam. With just seventy rooms, it was the chain’s second hotel. In 2010, it was completely rebuilt as part of the Inverdan project, initiated in 2003 by the town of Zaandam to revitalize its historic center.
