A Balcony Above the Void
At around 60 meters high, two fully glass balconies (east and west) allow visitors to walk above the air with complete transparency under their feet. Each platform is structurally reinforced and safe, accommodating up to six people at the same time.
Unique Panoramic Elevator
The ascent is made via a glass elevator that gradually rises through the interior of the tower. Along the way, visitors can admire the internal architecture — including the carillon — before reaching the balconies that provide a 360° panoramic view of Arnhem and its surrounding forests.
A Place Full of History
Built starting in 1450, the church was largely destroyed during the Battle of Arnhem in 1944, then restored with its tower rising to about 93 meters. In the following decades, it was modernized with a range of innovations integrated into its Gothic structure.
