Toverland is an amusement park located in Sevenum, in the province of Limburg, Netherlands. Since opening in 2001, the park has grown to become one of the most popular in the country. Originally consisting of a single hall, Toverland has diversified to offer visitors unique experiences throughout the year. Thanks to its indoor attractions, the park is open 365 days a year, providing a magical experience even in winter.

The History of Toverland
Toverland opened its doors in 2001, with a hall housing several indoor attractions. From the outset, the park stood out for its ability to welcome visitors all year round. In 2004, the park expanded with a second hall and also inaugurated its first outdoor area, the Magic Forest. In 2006, Toverland attracted 430,000 visitors.
In 2007, Toverland reached an important milestone with the opening of its first wooden roller coaster, Troy, which became a flagship attraction. In 2010, the park became the fifth most visited in the Netherlands, with 500,000 visitors. Visitor numbers continued to grow, reaching 673,000 in 2014.
The park’s expansion continued in 2018 with two new themed areas: Port Laguna, a port area that serves as a new entrance, and Avalon, inspired by the mythical island of Avalon. The latter area is home to the Fenix roller coaster and the Merlin’s Quest scenic cruise, helping to increase attendance to 812,000 visitors in 2018 and 862,000 in 2019.
